We Care: Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Hello Lovely Ladies!

As you may know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. A month to recognize those with breast cancer, educate the public, and praise the survivors. So, here at NaturAll Club, we would love to shed some light on breast cancer and its effects, while also giving you news on how to contribute to a great cause.

naturall club cares about our community

Did you know that 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer in her lifetime? [Source.] Did you also know that African American women under the age of 35, die from breast cancer three times as often as Caucasian women of the same age? [Source.] There are so many people are not aware of, even though it is so common. Breast cancer is rapidly spreading, making it the most common cancer in American women after skin cancers.

This is why it is very important for a woman to get a mammogram screening every year to detect breast cancer at an early stage. (Make sure to get examined if you're experiencing any of these symptoms: a lump or thickness in the breast, swelled or shrinking breasts, or red, thick, or scaly nipples.) [Source.] The earlier it is found, the quicker it can be to treat.

We know how much this condition can affect your everyday life. When you start to feel and look, different it can have a significant impact on a person’s mental health. Breast Cancer Awareness month is a time for us to all show our support and do whatever we can to help. [Source.]

NaturAll Club has teamed up with the Young Survival Coalition (YSC) to donate 15% of all proceeds during the month of October to young adults diagnosed with breast cancer and survivors.

The Young Survival Coalition is the largest nonprofit dedicated exclusively to young adults diagnosed with breast cancer ages 40 and under and their co-survivor support networks. YSC also educates and influences the medical, research and legislative communities to address breast cancer in young adults. For more information, be sure to check out YSC at youngsurvival.org

We hand-selected this organization to ensure all your contributions are going to a reliable place that is doing everything in its power to educate people while simultaneously helping those in need. We value giving back to our community, and this October, every dollar spent on our products can create a positive change in someone’s life. Join us in making the world a little more pink. :)

Muhga Eltigani

After years of using products that left her hair dry, damaged, and dull, Muhga Eltigani decided to chop off her hair and start over. For 6 months, she committed to using only natural ingredients on her hair- foods from her fridge and the grocery store with names she recognized, like avocados, olive oil, coconut, baking soda, and even eggs. She found support through an online community of women like her, sharing recipes and ingredients on Youtube.
