Ashley's Natural Hair Journey

As a new natural I had no idea what I was doing to my hair so I treated it the same as my relaxed hair. Between heat damage, color damage, and over processed hair, my hair became stringy and brittle and I was forced to do the big chop.

I was very self conscious about my new short cut until someone suggested I take to YouTube to learn, which is how I came across Muhga and NaturAll. Watching the transformation of Muhga’s hair, seeing the many phases, and the observing her transparency allowed me to stop being ashamed of my curls and begin to embrace them in all facets. I was so enthralled by Muhga’s hair and this avocado concoction!

Ashley's natural hair journey

Long story short, I’ve been a faithful member for almost 3 years now, managed to meet and do a photo shoot with this beautiful woman, and the moment she came out with a whole line I ordered right away! I’m in love and I’ll never look back! It has now been 3 years since my big chop, my hair extremely healthy, and I still use NaturAll products like it’s my first time hearing about it. Beyond the product the staff is always accessible and have helped me through this journey. I am ever so grateful.

I’m learning to better understand my curls and the many patterns that make up my mane. I’m embracing every step of this beautiful journey and looking forward to the growth that lies ahead.

Muhga Eltigani

Muhga Eltigani

After years of using products that left her hair dry, damaged, and dull, Muhga Eltigani decided to chop off her hair and start over. For 6 months, she committed to using only natural ingredients on her hair- foods from her fridge and the grocery store with names she recognized, like avocados, olive oil, coconut, baking soda, and even eggs. She found support through an online community of women like her, sharing recipes and ingredients on Youtube.
