NaturAll is the only beauty company to use FRESH avocado pulp in our hair products! Why do we use them? Fresh avocados are rich in potassium, Vitamin E, protein, Vitamin A, Vitamin K, fiber, folate, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, copper and protein. The natural oils and nutrients of avocados moisturize your hair, promote hair growth, prevent hair loss, and repair damage on your scalp.

Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil is very high in monounsaturated fatty acids, which nourish, moisturize, and strengthen hair strands, protecting them from further damage. It also contains phytosterols and antioxidants, which further prevent damage as well as encourage hair growth. Learn more here.

Naturally derived from brassica oil. Brassica Alcohol is a safe, non-irritating, moisturizing ingredient that conditions and softens hair. It improves the manageability of curly and kinky hair, making it easier to detangle and reducing breakage. Brassica alcohol also helps stabilize the product. Unlike isopropyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, or SD alcohol, brassica alcohol is safe, non-drying, and does not have any skin-irritating effects!

This ingredient is a conditioning and anti-static agent that aids in detangling and reduces fly-aways. Brassicyl Isoleucinate Esylate is also an emulsifier, providing a silky feeling to natural hair!

Shea Butter is a natural conditioner for hair as it absorbs easily into the scalp and it does not clog the pores. It provides moisture from the roots to the ends of your hair making it great to use as a deep conditioner or a leave in conditioner.

Naturally derived from coconut. In order to prevent the growth of bacteria and extend the life of our products on your shelf, we needed a preservative. However, most preservatives used in cosmetics are toxic, carcinogenic, or potentially contaminated with other hazardous ingredients. That’s why we took the time to find a completely natural and safe preservative! Caprylhydroxamic Acid is a safe, naturally-derived compound that provides gentle anti-microbial protection without compromising your safety or results- in fact, it actually helps moisturize your hair.

Naturally derived from coconut oil and glycerin. Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride is one of the best emollients (conditioners) out there! It replenishes skin and hair with moisture and prevents moisture loss, without leaving a greasy residue. It give the product a silky feel. It is also a safe and gentle ingredient, great for sensitive skin and fragile hair.

Naturally derived from coconut and castor oil. Capryloyl Glycerin conditions the hair and adds slip. In combination with Sebacic Acid Copolymer and Diheptyl Succinate, Capryloyl Glycerin produces slip and detangling without product buildup. It is biodegradable, eco-friendly, 100% natural, and safe!

Cetearyl is one of the “good alcohols” found in hair products. Unlike isopropyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, or SD alcohol, cetearyl alcohol is safe, non-toxic, and does not have any skin-irritating or drying effects.

Naturally derived from sugarcane. Citric acid stabilizes pH of the product, which naturally smooths the hair cuticle and makes the hair softer and less frizzy. It is also a mild preservative that helps kill bacteria and preserves the shelf life of the product.

Orange essential oil is a natural cleanser, since it is antifungal and antibacterial. Using orange essential oil contributes to healthy-looking hair, and is especially known for uplifting your mood! It also adds shine and a pleasant scent to the product.

Lemon essential oil is antiseptic and microbial, making it a great clarifying oil. It is also especially effective at treating dandruff and scalp acne, as well as improving blood circulation. It also adds shine and a pleasant scent to the product. Learn more here.

Carrageenan powder is a conditioning agent that also controls viscosity. It soothes the scalp, conditions hair, enhances shine, and fortifies the hair shaft. It also emulsifies other ingredients in our Avocado Curl Custard!

Coconut oil has a high moisture retaining capacity. It keeps hair moist and soft, preventing hair breakage. The various fatty acids present in coconut oil serve as very good anti-dandruff agents. Learn more about coconut oil here!

Manufactured using methods that do not involve experimentation on animals. 

Naturally derived from glucose and coconut. A mild, gentle cleaning agent. It produces moderate amount of stable foam in cleansing products. It is biodegradeable, non-irritating, non-allergenic, and does not dry out the skin or hair.

Naturally derived. Diheptyl Succinate is a lightweight emollient that conditions the hair. Working with capryloyl glycerin, it reduces the greasy feel of natural oils in the product, producing a smooth and silky texture. This ingredient is also environmentally friendly, biodegradable, and 100% natural.

Naturally derived from coconut. Disodium Cocoamphodipropionate is another cleaning agent (also known as a surfectant.) We use it to remove dirt without stripping your hair. It also enhances the feeling, sheen, and suppleness of your natural hair!

Glycerin is a clear, odorless liquid produced from plant oils that has strong humectant properties. Because glycerin attracts moisture, it is well known for its ability to smooth and soften hair. It pulls moisture into the hair cuticles and locks it in, preventing hair from becoming frizzy, dry or breaking off.

Naturall-derived from coconut. Glyceryl Caprylate is a natural, certified safe ingredient that helps emulsify our products and provides a conditioning effect as well, restoring moisture balance to the skin.

Naturally derived from vegetable oils and glycerin. Glyceryl Stearate moisturizes the skin and hair, prevents dryness, and has been shown to protect the skin from free-radical damage. Guar gum is a fiber from the seed of the guar plant. It helps bind the incredible natural ingredients together in our Avocado Deep Conditioners, which otherwise do not contain a chemical emulsifier.

Sunflower seed oil is able to keep your scalp very hydrated by trapping in the moisuture. It helps prevent aging and protects the hair aganist the sun's harsh UV lights by perserving and guarding the collagen.

Honey is a humectant, drawing water molecules to itself. This is what makes it such a great moisturizer for hair! It is also an emollient, smoothing and softening hair, making it shinier. Honey also has antibacterial properties, keeping your scalp clean and gently removing impurities.

Naturally derived from corn. Hydrolyzed corn starch is a humectant that moisturizes and conditions hair and skin. It is naturally derived from corn starch, and also helps the products absorb into your hair.

Naturally derived from silk. Hydrolyzed silk replenishes hair protein and strength. It penetrates the hair and improves elasticity, prevents breakage, and protects hair from further damage. It also conditions and softens hair!

Naturally derived from plant cellulose. Hydroxyethylcellulose is a natural binder, emulsion stabilizer, and thickener in the our Avocado Curl Custard. It helps bind and distribute all the active ingredients in the product. It also offers a soft hold without any flaking or stickiness, and acts as a natural preservative.

Iron Oxide is a mineral deposit that occurs naturally with pigments that can be used as colorants in various applications in terms of cosmetics. The black pigmentation in our Edge Control Black helps creates a fuller look by filling in thinning edges, avoiding the white residue that occurs with other edge controls.

Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil is filled with strengthening vitamins C and E to nourish and protect the hair while stimulating growth.

JCBO is derived from the castor plant and contains small amounts of ash from the roasting process the castor seeds go through in production (this roasting process distinguishes Jamaican black castor oil from standard pure castor oil). JBCO contains ricinoleic acid, which increases blood circulation to the scalp, promotes hair growth, attacks inflammation and scalp infections. JBCO also contains antioxidants that support the keratin in your hair, making it stronger, smoother, more structured, and less frizzy.

Often confused with Jojoba oil, jojoba esters are actually waxes. With its soothing qualities, Jojoba esters are able to soften the skin since its qualities are very similiar to the natural oils that the skin produces. It serves as a great moisturizer and is able to protect the hair. It is antifungal, so it is able to tackle dandruff. It is also able to exfoliate the scalp, by clearing up the dead cells. It's anti-inflammatory properties make it ideal to use whenever the scalp is irritated.

Arginine is an amino acid that is naturally produced within the body and many plants. It improves blood flow to the scalp, reduces hair loss, strengthens hair and prevents it from damage. It helps hair grow! Arginine also helps neutralize the pH of our Hydrating Avocado Conditioner.

Great for moisturizing the hair and giving it a healthier, shinier, and silkier look. This emoillient is made to protect the hair and lubricate the scalp. 

Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Essential Oil Stimulates blood circulation to the scalp to promote hair growth, it also is antimicrobial preventing bacteria growth.

A sulfate free shampoo that produces less than usual or a "low" amount of lather. 

Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter. Typically extracted from de-shelled Mango fruit seeds; used for its fatty and nutritious properties. Mango seed butter is packed with Vitamin A and E, which helps repair your hair. Since its non-comedogenic, it will not clog your hair folliciles or pores. It has long lasting moisture that is extremely beneficial for dry hair.  

Tea tree oil naturally soothes itchy scalps. It is also antimicrobial, so it helps prevent many hair problems like dandruff, cradle cap, baldness, psoriasis, head lice, etc. Learn more here.

Mica provides a white, shiny, and glowy look. It gives off a smoother and softer tone because of the reflective properties. This allows our Edge Control Black to have smoother consistencty making easier for you to lay your edges. 

Mint contains antioxidants as well as carotene, it is antimicrobial and antifungal, which helps to treat dandruff.

Coconut oil infused with Tahitian Gardenias. Reduces protein loss and split ends, increases strength and shine.

Contains essential proteins, vitamins and minerals that moisturize the scalp, remedy hair loss, and help hair retain its color.

We are famous for our deep conditioners that are so natural, they need to be refrigerated. However, it doesn’t work for us to pull a shampoo or leave-in conditioner in and out of the freezer whenever we need it, and we know that doesn’t work for you either. Any shelf-stable hair product needs a preservative to prevent the growth of bacteria.

Knowing this, we still refused to cut corners. Most preservatives used in hair products have harmful side effects, ranging from parabens and formaldehyde, which pose cancer risks, to Phenoxyethanol and Ethylhexylglycerin, safer alternatives that still run the risk of irritation and toxicity. 

We refused to use any of these ingredients in our products, and instead sought out the only natural preservative available. In our shelf-stable products we use Caprylhydroxamic Acid, a safe, naturally-derived compound that keeps our products microbe-free without compromising your safety or results. In fact, this preservative actually helps moisturize your hair!

Extra Virgin Olive oil is rich in high levels of monounsaturated fatty acids and Vitamin E, an antioxidant important for hair growth. Olive oil is one of the top emollients that can penetrate the hair, and its lightweight nature makes it great for moisturizing. It also contains anti-inflammatory properties that promote scalp health and prevent dandruff.

Orbignya Oleifera Seed Oil benefits include moisturizing and soothing the skin. It contains Vitamin E properties aid in fighting against premature aging and preserving the hair. It can be used on any hair type since it is an adaptive oil.

Naturally derived from plants. Panthenol is a humectant that attracts water from the atmosphere, moisturizing hair and preventing dehydration. It forms a smooth film over the hair shaft, sealing holes in the surface and giving it a shiny appearance. It provides slip, helps with detangling, and is soluble in both water and alcohol, preventing product buildup on your hair. It can also reduce inflammation and itching on the scalp!

Naturally derived from fruit. Pectin is a natural thickening agent (often used to stabilize jams and jellies!) It thickens our Avocado Curl Custard and provides hold.

Naturally derived from coconut oil. PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate is an emollient that conditions the skin, scalp, and hair. It also helps emulsify the product and prevents separation, creating the silky texture of our Edge Control products.

Naturally derived from castor oil. PEG-7 Hydrogenated Castor Oil is an emollient and skin conditioning agent, making our Edge Controls smooth and conditioning to your hair and skin.

This naturally derived ingredient emulsifies and thickens our Edge Controls, giving a thick consistency and hold.

Pracaxi Seeds have many beneficial properties, one of the most significant is that it promotes cell renewal, allowing your hair to grow. Its softening properties keeps your hair feeling smooth and healthy.

Naturally derived from dimethicone. Polyglycerin-3 is a humectant. It is able to moisturize and hydrate your hair very efficiently as well as condition the hair. Similar to glycerin, but it is breaks down slower as it absorbs into the skin and scalp, allowing the moisturizing effect to last longer.

Naturally derived from plant cellulose. Polyquaternium-10 is a moisturizer and anti-static agent. It absorbs easily into the hair, provides sheen, and enhances look and feel of hair. It is a safe, non-irritating, and water-soluble! (Does not cause buildup.)

A hair treatment that is intended to be washed off after application. These are used "pre", meaning before, shampooing or using a similar cleansing agent.

Naturally derived from corn. Propanediol is a solvent that helps dissolve active ingredients in our leave-in conditioner. It controls viscosity, keeping it from being too thick. It improves moisture, leaves hair smooth and soft, and is non-irritating.

Propylene glycol is a humectant that helps the skin and hair retain moisture. It softens hair and makes it easier to comb, and can even help prevent bacteria growth. It also helps dissolve and emulsify the other ingredients in the product. It is considered safe as an additive in food, medication, and cosmetics!

PVP is a water-soluble polymer that helps emulsify the product. It helps fix the gel to your hair and reduces frizz, giving you maximum hold and volume! Since it is water-soluble, it does not cause buildup on your hair.

Castor oil is a conditioning and moisturizing agent that locks moisture into the hair. It also has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, encourages blood circulation, and promotes a healthy scalp. Note the difference between pure castor oil, which is pressed from castor seeds, and Jamaican black castor oil, which contains ash from its distillation process.

An oil that is applied to hair in order to surround and close off the hair cuticle. "Sealing" the cuticle in this way helps to lock moisture into the hair and prevent it from evaporating away.

Irish Moss contains numerous vitamins and minerals that restore strength, increase shine, and soothe the scalp.

Sebacic Acid Copolymer conditions the hair and adds slip. In combination with Capryloyl Glycerin and Diheptyl Succinate, it provides superior conditioning to natural hair. It is biodegradable, eco-friendly, 100% natural, and non-toxic!

A fatty substance obtained from the nuts of the shea tree, widley known for its moisturizing properties.

Many cleansing products contain Cocamidopropyl Betaine, an antiseptic conditioning agent that increases the foam in a shampoo and reduces static. However, Cocamidopropyl Betaine is also irritating, a potential allergen, and can be contaminated with potentially carcinogenic ingredients. We use a natural alternative: Shea Butter Amidopropyl Betaine. This safe, cutting-edge ingredient provides the same results without any side effects.

Simethicone is an anti-foaming agent that helps create a gel-like texture. It also provides slip and softens hair. Non-toxic and often used in medications and toothpaste!

Jojoba oil has extremely similar properties to sebum, the natural oil produced by your scalp. This means your scalp and hair follicles are able to drink up jojoba oil just like they would sebum itself, replenishing oil on your scalp and moisturizing your hair without leaving an oily residue or clogging your pores. Jojoba oil is also an emollient, soothing the skin, unclogging pores, and preventing skin irritations and dandruff. Learn more about jojoba oil here.

Naturally-derived from coconut. Despite what you may have heard, you DO need to clean your hair. Dirt, oils, and products build up on your hair over time, eventually resulting in hair that is dull and lifeless. However, most shampoos contain sulfates or other cleansers that are simply too harsh for natural hair! Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate is a natural alternative to sulfates. Rather than stripping your hair of its natural oils, this cleansing agent gently removes dirt, pollutants, and product buildup leaving your hair and scalp refreshed. This naturally-derived ingredient is also safe and non-toxic.

Naturally-derived from coconut. We add Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate to our shampoo because it lowers the surface tension of the product, making it easier to spread throughout your hair. It clings to dirt and pollutants, making it easier for water to wash them away. Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate is extremely safe and gentle, commonly used in toothpaste and baby soaps!

Sulfates are not used in any NaturAll products. Sulftes are harsh chemicals are often used as lathering agents in other hair products.

Sunflower Seed Oil is able to lubricate the hair giving it a smoother and hydrated look. It is filled with many essential oils, like Vitamin E, which helps fight off bacteria that lead to a dry scalp or product build-up.

Also known as "pharmacy in a fruit" Cupuaçu Seed Butter has many benefits that will leave your hair feeling as moisturized and healthy as ever! It is able to absorb moisture making it an ideal sealant. It also helps in absorbing UVA and UVB rays.

Titanium Dioxide helps minimize opaque-ness and creates a bright shine. It also acts as sunscreen agent because it absorbs, reflects and scatters light. The shine allows your edges to look moisturized and smoother.

Vitamin E is a powerful, fat-soluble antioxidant that that helps repair and build tissue. When you apply vitamin E to your scalp, it helps reduce inflammation and repair damage to the follicles, and encourages growth in healthy follicles. It also deeply conditions the hair from root to shaft to make it healthier and shinier, and even prevents premature graying. Learn more about Vitamin E here!

We believe that caring for your hair should be guilt-free. That doesn’t just mean non-toxic hair products—it also means responsibly sourcing ingredients to benefit our planet. This is why the majority of our hair products are 100% vegan. The only exceptions are our Flaxseed Styling Line, which contains yogurt powder to assist in styling, and our original Deep Conditioners, which contain honey. In all these cases, we are committed to sourcing ingredients with zero harm to animals, and all of our products are cruelty free.

Water is moisture. Without it, your hair has no hope of staying moisturized. This is why we include it as a non-negotiable ingredient in our Deep Conditioners, and recommend that you check the label on any hair product claiming to moisturize your hair—if water isn’t listed as the first or second ingredient, it’s lying to you! Water also helps dissolve the active ingredients in our Shampoos and Conditioners.

Repairs and strengthens the hair follicle, helps your hair retain moisture, and fortifies and protects the hair cuticle.

Naturally-derived from sugar. Xanthan gum is a natural thickener and stabilizer, often added to food products like salad dressing, soup, or baked goods. We use it in our Avocado Curl Custard to maintain the consistency of the product and distribute the active ingredients. It also enhances the hold of the product, fixing in your style!

Our “Yogurt Powder” is the ‘next generation’ of milk ingredients. It is a powdered version of yogurt, containing nutrients such as non-hydrolyzed proteins, peptides, dairy lipids, vitamins and minerals. Our “Yogurt Powder” is rich in dairy lipids that improves the quality of dry hair and combing power on wet hair.
