I wanted a twisting cream to replace my Camille Rose Naturals twisting butter but the consistency of this product was not what I was expecting—it is indeed a paste and closer to a tacky gel than to a cream. It needs to be emulsified in the hands before it can be applied to the hair. Unfortunately, it did not provide either hold or moisture and my hair lacked definition.

Wow…I don’t know why I didn’t buy this earlier! I usually buy the NC custard, but I decided to try this twisting paste and it has been a game-changer! My twist/braid outs have been looking amazing! And my curl definition has lasted a lot longer (even on day 4 and day 5 when your hair is all stretched out!). Definitely making this part of my permanent routine!

When I first purchased the Hydrating Twisting Past I honestly thought it would be like any gel that I have tried but No this paste is phenomenal just like the name it hydrates your hair and I love doing two strand twist for my protected style and it holds all of the little fly-away and for my hair once it’s washed and I use my twisting paste it will last for two weeks before the next wash. I have purchased multiples just to give away as gifts because friends want to know what I’m using,I give them the first one as a gift and I tell them the thank you is when you purchase your next one yourself.

I am in AWE of this product! I have been on a journey .. a sad journey when it comes to my 4C hair! Between processing to relax my coils, to cutting inches (too many) from the ends to try and get rid of the kink (coil) ... it has been agonizing. And finally this product works .. it manages my coils and I am just really psyched .. I use this combined with another pudding like hair product but THIS product is the dominating factor in relaxing , managing and reshaping (for lack of a better word description) my coils. I LOVE "Natur.All Hydrating twisting paste"!! It has been a savior for my natural 4C hair!

I love the results. I have STRONG and FLEXIBLE hold with the finger coils, they are elongated and the SHINE SIS…OMG! I sat outside at a restaurant for HOURS and I didn’t have not one speck of frizz! The picture I am sharing is the day-after outdoor dining and it still looks like day-one hair. This is the only product from the collection I have tried, but I am definitely eager to try more of the hydration line.

I have 4b/c low porosity hair and this did not work for me at all. I was super disappointed in this twisting paste. It has the consistency of an edge control but didn't work well enough to even do that much. I used on freshly washed, deep conditioned and stretched hair in conjunction with the leave-in conditioner and the definition and old didn't even last a full day. I was on a trip and had to go out and buy another product to re-braiding my hair. I decided to give it another chance and use it on wet/damp hair and got the same results. I won't be using this again and wouldn't recommend if you like definition over a fluffy braid/twist out.

Honestly not sure about hair porosity on my son's hair in the photo nor if he is protein sensitive. However, I have low porosity hair and I don't believe I am protein sensitive. But I also LOVE!!! This twisting paste on my natural hair. I am a 20+ year natural, mostly between braids, twist-outs, pony-tails (my-own) and wash n' go's. I love my natural hair, but I get a little frustrated with the stagnant growth. While I love my texture, my curls, the length seems to stop right at my shoulder, and that's mostly the back of my hair... The condition of my hair is great it's healthy but needs to grow, grow, grow!

I was VERY skeptical to try this "new and improved" product when I already loved the Avocado curl custard. But this paste....OMG! I have very dry and coarse 4c hair. I used the paste with the Luster S-Curl Wave Jel
Activator and together it is the perfect combo for my hair! I really wish you all could feel how soft and moisturized my hair is. It's been like this for 4 days now and it's not even beginning to get frizzy like it does after 1 day. The paste elongates my hair...no shrinkage or anything. All you need is a little of the paste. It's pricey but it should last for A WHILE because you will not have to redo/freshen-up your twist nearly as often. I LOVE IT!!

I don't own anything like this twisting paste. The texture isn't like gel, it isn't like custard, it's completely different. I'm playing with the idea of loc'ing up and I think this product would provide consistent moisture to any locs. It's also good for just a regular set of twists. Mine are doing great after one week still.
