I usually get the black flaxseed gel, but it was sold out (it’s a great product so I’m not surprised). This product has good hold. I find my hair frizzes less if I wet my hair first then put it on and brush. I love the smell and recommend.

The edge control works!!! I don’t like doing my edges snd I am bad at it, but when I try, I use this edge control. I am going to be honest, when I sweat it lifts but they still look presentable. I use with a wet brush but it can also be used on a dry brush. Will be using again!

I have Seborrheic Dermatitis aka my scalp doesn’t like oil or relaxers on it and I’ll break out in scaly scabs. I have to be careful with certain edge controls or else I’ll breakout and I get flakes, but with this product I have no issues!
The smell isn’t too strong and it actually melts into your hair. It doesn’t sit on top of the hair either. Love this stuff!

This’d the 2nd type of edge control I’ve tried. The edge control did not hold my 4c edges. I tried laying it down with a scarf and hair spray and it still didn’t hold. My hair instantly came “up” when I took the head wrap off. It doesn’t flake so that’s cool.

This edge control does not slick my edges like I thought it would especially with it being the extra strength hold. It lays my edges but it does not hold them after a few minutes. It feels extremely firm to the touch but laying me edges wasn’t enough.

When I used this product it did give me the desired effect however after a while my edges would turn white. I tried using a little less product but then my edges wouldn’t hold. I’ve found that I have to use this and the black together to keep the white from showing

I got the extreme hold of this cause they recommend it for 4C hair. I was so excited because it's really big. Sad to say this did not hold down anything. That was extremely frustrating. I wish I could return it.

Since working to wear my hair in more natural styles this edge control is the truth! I twisted my hair using the avocado moisturizer and avocado oil last night. This morning I applied the edge control and brushed back with a damp brush. Love the results!

My hair has been twisted the last 3 days so today I used the curl custard and the edge control and obtained wonderful results. I used avocado oil, pink moisturizer and water then applied the custard and edge control. I am waiting for my avocado moisturizer to arrive in the mail.
