1. Section your hair into 4 sections.

2. Apply gel or custard to freshly washed wet or damp hair.

3. Distribute a generous amount of product into hair from ends to roots using the shingling or raking method. Style Tip: Once the product has been worked in, shake hair to clump curls and coils together and reveal brilliant definition!

4. Style hair as desired.

5 Allow time to dry. Style tip: For faster drying, sit under dryer or use a blow dryer with a diffuser!

6. Apply a small amount of flaxseed edge control around edges.

Style Tip: Gently smooth hair down with fingertips or a small brush to lay down flyaways and edges.

7. Repeat steps if additional hold is needed.

Head Chef tip: Use the gel or custard sparingly! It's also important not to apply it to dry hair. Applying too much or applying to dry hair can lead to flaking.
